A qualitative study to describe the subjective experiences of patients with mood-related disorders. There are only a few studies about subjective experiences in the literature, despite the fact that these experiences are crucial for the understanding and the treatment of such disorders. Grounded theory methodology was used. Semi-structured interviews with 12 patients were conducted. The data were analysed using the qualitative computer program Atlas.ti. The patients described experiences that contributed to the suffering of mood-related disorders, such as feelings of emptiness and meaninglessness. The patients also described experiences of well-being. Four categories of experiences related to mood-related disorders were identified: 'depressive feelings', 'psychological pain','sexual fears', and'social disconnection'. The patients' reports of experiences in the categories were linked in a typology describing the patients' subjective experiences of mood-related disorders. The experiences identified in the patients' descriptions were as expected, but in some cases the patients reported experiences of well-being. These experiences were more noticeable than the experiences that contributed to suffering.1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a printer, and more particularly, to a printer which is capable of preventing paper jams.
2. Description of the Related Art
In recent years, there has been a widespread use of recording apparatuses including a printer and a facsimile machine to which the printer is connected.
Generally, the printer of this type includes a paper feed cassette in which paper (sheet) such as recording paper and an ink ribbon are accommodated, a paper feed path which guides the paper from the paper feed cassette to an image recording position in the printer, and an image forming unit which forms an image onto the paper.
The printer of this type further includes an operation panel arranged to be exposed by an opening formed in a front side of the printer, and a display section arranged on the operation panel.
The printer further includes a recording paper conveyance mechanism which is arranged to move a carriage provided with an image forming unit along the paper feed path.
The operation panel is provided with a plurality of keys which are operated by a user to perform various functions of the printer. For example, the user performs a power-on operation to start a power supply. The user performs an operation to designate a file name and a print command to print image
